Lisa G.

Head Trainer & Co-Owner

Lisa’s road to a holistic lifestyle began in 1998 when activity and health became deeply ingrained in her daily ritual. Today, she studies nutrition and herbology and is dedicated to hiking, running, circuit training, yoga and spin. An integral part of her fitness practice is her commitment to Lagree, which she believes has provided her an incredible mixture of body awareness, and mental and physical strength. A natural energizer, Lisa takes her internal passion and applies it to everyone she works with. When she sees her clients thriving and transforming — while building the abs and booty of their dreams! — her heart is full. High-energy, upbeat and designed to motivate, Lisa is a positive fitness trainer who values true connection with her clients. A Level 2 Lagree Trainer, Mad Dogg Spinning Instructor and professionally trained in TRX, Lisa is as challenging as she is inspiring.

Eva

Eva

While pursuing a degree in theatre and acting, Eva’s interest in yoga grew as a way to support dance and movement training. She received her certification through Purple Yoga’s teacher training program and started working with Yoga Across America, bringing the practice to high school students. After taking her first Lagree class in 2015, everything changed. Eva fell in love with the megaformer, and decided to become a certified Lagree trainer that same year. Since then, she has taught the method at many different studios all around LA. From fitness to theatre, traveling and real estate, no matter how busy Eva is, she always creates room for Lagree and the positive effects it brings to her and her clients’ lives.
Rachel

Rachel

Rachel has been practicing the method for over seven years and has experienced life-changing results. She was on the megaformer every day throughout her pregnancy and attributes her post-baby physical and mental recovery to Lagree. Passionate about the method, her classes are upbeat, form-based, and focused on increasing strength through a mind and body connection. To begin or continue your personal fitness journey, join Rachel at Lagree213.
Kelly

Kelly

Kelly developed a passion for music and dance from a young age which drew her to LA to pursue commercial dance. Health and fitness have always been a priority to keep Kelly in top performance shape, but as a full-time student, she needed new ways to provide intense, effective workouts that could fit into her busy schedule. She discovered Lagree and was instantly hooked! After 18 months of taking Lagree classes at studios around LA, she earned her Lagree certification. Today, she applies her enthusiasm for fitness as a Lagree213 trainer. Kelly enjoys changing up her routines and music to make every class a fresh, exciting and a challenging full-body workout.
Karley

Karley

As a professional ballet dancer, Karley has trained all her life in ballet and being active has always been her lifestyle. During the COVID shutdown she was in search of a workout that delivers the same intensity and dopamine release she is accustomed to as a dancer. Luckily she discovered Lagree! She fell in love and dove deep into the method, taking class daily. As a trainer, Karley hopes to inspire others to take time for themselves by creating a weekly ritual. The most rewarding part of teaching for her is seeing others fall in love, feel themselves getting stronger and seeing clients bring friends to class to spread the Lagree love.
Maggie

Maggie

Maggie is a Lagree Fitness Master Trainer. Maggie discovered Lagree in the fall of 2018 after a trainer friend recommended the workout as a way to lean up fast, challenge limits, build strength, and inspire the mind. Intimidated and a little skeptical at first, Maggie made it through her first class, and fell in love. As a former fitness writer, Maggie was a fitness junkie. She tried every workout imaginable, trained for triathlons, marathons, and century bike rides. Exercise was Maggie’s outlet for stress, and she loved the dedication and discipline that training for each event required. Yet, she never felt or looked as fit as she hoped. Then, Lagree happened, and everything changed. The Lagree Method quickly helped her build lean muscle and dissolve fat — changing her body composition — which previously felt out of reach. The low back pain that had plagued her for years all but vanished. Through the method, Maggie became stronger inside and out. She earned her Level 1 certification in early 2019 and began teaching. Life and priorities caused Maggie to step back from teaching until the pandemic forced her to stop and consider the future. Of all the things that ground to a halt in 2020, Maggie missed Lagree the most. She saw everything Lagree meant to her; not just physically, but emotionally, mentally, and spiritually, and Maggie knew it was her calling to give back. So, she jumped back into teaching, became Level 2 certified, studied everything she could about technique, alignment, form and the science of the Method — and was inspired to become a Master Trainer. Today, Maggie loves helping clients and trainers change their lives through the magic of Lagree.
Michael

Michael

Michael discovered Lagree in the middle of the pandemic, and began practicing almost daily at the Lagree213 outdoor studio. He found the method to be so transformational—body, mind, and soul—that he jumped at the chance to become a certified trainer in May 2021. Michael is also a certified mindfulness meditation teacher, a classically trained singer, and published author with degrees in music from Oberlin Conservatory and the University of Utah. He is on the voice faculty at the Colburn School in downtown Los Angeles. In his spare time... oh wait, nevermind.
Courtney

Courtney

Courtney is a southern girl, raised in Georgia who moved to Los Angeles to pursue her music and acting career. While working in an industry where good physical and mental health is essential, she discovered the Lagree method. Falling in love with a workout that produced results and provided a sense of community, Courtney became a certified trainer. Staying true to her artist mind and heart, her classes create a forty-five minute mental and physical experience utilizing fun playlists, fluid movements and a positive attitude.
Kayla

Kayla

Kayla grew up in the midwest and has always led an active lifestyle. As a competitive dancer in her youth, she deeply understands and values the importance of good form. While on a vacation in Denver in 2015, Kayla discovered Lagree. She loved the method so much, she took a leap to become Lagree certified a year later. Kayla is known for her fun playlists, and loves to have a good time and "get our shake on". Kayla's favorite move is 5th lunge because she loves how quickly it sparks heat and shakes while pulling against the tension of the megaformer.
Helene

Helene

A lifelong fitness enthusiast, Helene discovered Lagree while looking to fill a void in her exercise regimen. She found the method that gave her long, strong muscles without impact on her joints…. and she was in love! Teaching Lagree over the last several years, Helene enjoys helping clients achieve a healthier, stronger version of themselves, knowing that Lagree is transformative for everyone.
Kristin

Kristin

Kristin found her love of group fitness as the only 15-year-old in a sea of 30 and 40-year-olds at step classes at the YMCA in Corpus Christi, TX. She was hooked, and went on to teach cardio and fitness at the University of Virginia, and became a cycling instructor upon moving to the City of Angels, before stumbling into pilates reformer training. In addition to Lagree, Kristin is certified with MadDog Athletics, Schwinn, AFFA, the Equinox Pilates Program, TRX, and Inka suspension training. You may have heard her cough, mumble, or clap on a number of television shows, and she has written 4 middle grade holiday adventure chapter books. Her Lagree classes are not known for being easy; she is a stickler for form, and with both music and exercise, she likes to mix things up. She believes that although fitness may not cure all the world’s evils, it is a good place to start.
Liv

Liv

A New Yorker born and raised, Liv grew up a dancer. After establishing a professional dance career, she developed a debilitating eating disorder with aspects of exercise addiction. She came to California to attend treatment, and to gain her life and freedom back. It was in Los Angeles that she found Lagree and immediately fell in love with the unique method. Gradually growing out of love with dance but recognizing her innate ability to teach, she followed her passion for Lagree and became a certified trainer — and the rest is history. In love with the method, it’s everything she’s always wanted in a workout and is whole-heartedly excited about sharing it with others.
