Lisa G.

Level 3 Master Trainer & Co-Owner

Lisa’s road to a holistic lifestyle began in 1998 when activity and health became deeply ingrained in her daily ritual. Today, she studies nutrition and herbology and is dedicated to hiking, running, circuit training, yoga and spin. An integral part of her fitness practice is her commitment to Lagree, which she believes has provided her an incredible mixture of body awareness, and mental and physical strength. A natural energizer, Lisa takes her internal passion and applies it to everyone she works with. When she sees her clients thriving and transforming — while building the abs and booty of their dreams — her heart is full. High-energy, upbeat and designed to motivate, Lisa is a positive fitness trainer who values true connection with her clients. A Lagree-Certified Level 3 Master Trainer, Mad Dogg Spinning Instructor and professionally trained in TRX, Lisa is as challenging as she is inspiring.

Rachel

Rachel

Rachel has been practicing the method for over seven years and has experienced life-changing results. She was on the megaformer every day throughout her pregnancy and attributes her post-baby physical and mental recovery to Lagree. Passionate about the method, her classes are upbeat, form-based, and focused on increasing strength through a mind and body connection. To begin or continue your personal fitness journey, join Rachel at Lagree213.
Michael

Michael

Michael is a Level 3 Lagree Certified Master Trainer and co-director of the Lagree213 Level 1 Certification program with Lisa Goldsman. A passionate educator, Michael brings decades of experience as a college professor, writer, and private voice teacher to his work as a Lagree fitness instructor and teacher trainer. He discovered Lagree at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic and began practicing almost daily at the Lagree213 outdoor studio. After years of practicing yoga and Pilates (in addition to triathlon and fitness training) he found the Lagree method to be so transformational—body, mind, and soul—that he jumped at the chance to become a certified trainer in 2021, and he taught regular classes at Lagree213 for several years before moving to Paris, France in 2024 as the lead Master Trainer for Lagree Fitness in Europe. He returns to co-lead Lagree213’s certification program. Find him on the schedule as a guest trainer when he’s in town.
Kayla

Kayla

Kayla grew up in the midwest and has always led an active lifestyle. As a competitive dancer in her youth, she deeply understands and values the importance of good form. While on a vacation in Denver in 2015, Kayla discovered Lagree. She loved the method so much, she took a leap to become Lagree certified a year later. Kayla is known for her fun playlists, and loves to have a good time and "get our shake on". Kayla's favorite move is 5th lunge because she loves how quickly it sparks heat and shakes while pulling against the tension of the megaformer.
Kristin

Kristin

Kristin found her love of group fitness as the only 15-year-old in a sea of 30 and 40-year-olds at step classes at the YMCA in Corpus Christi, TX. She was hooked, and went on to teach cardio and fitness at the University of Virginia, and became a cycling instructor upon moving to the City of Angels, before stumbling into pilates reformer training. In addition to Lagree, Kristin is certified with MadDog Athletics, Schwinn, AFFA, the Equinox Pilates Program, TRX, and Inka suspension training. You may have heard her cough, mumble, or clap on a number of television shows, and she has written 4 middle grade holiday adventure chapter books. Her Lagree classes are not known for being easy; she is a stickler for form, and with both music and exercise, she likes to mix things up. She believes that although fitness may not cure all the world’s evils, it is a good place to start.
Liv

Liv

A New Yorker born and raised, Liv grew up a dancer. After establishing a professional dance career, she developed a debilitating eating disorder with aspects of exercise addiction. She came to California to attend treatment, and to gain her life and freedom back. It was in Los Angeles that she found Lagree and immediately fell in love with the unique method. Gradually growing out of love with dance but recognizing her innate ability to teach, she followed her passion for Lagree and became a certified trainer — and the rest is history. In love with the method, it’s everything she’s always wanted in a workout and is whole-heartedly excited about sharing it with others.
Lauren

Lauren

Lauren fell in love with the method over seven years ago. She earned her certification as she began her grad school journey. She is a full-time Registered Dietitian and loves subbing when her schedule allows. Lauren’s favorite things about teaching include connecting with clients beyond quick ‘hellos’ and ‘goodbyes’, and watching them become stronger. Don't worry, Lauren will always believe in balance — ice cream is approved… as long as it’s enjoyed after taking her class.
Hyesil

Hyesil

Hyesil is an East Coast gal from New York who moved to Los Angeles during the pandemic. As a fitness enthusiast, an active lifestyle has always been central to her routine, but Hyesil gained a greater understanding of the importance of strength from both a mental and physical perspective through Lagree. Realizing that working out is so much more than just a physical activity, she became a certified trainer in order to share her positive, healthy mindset and relationship with exercise with others.

Alec

Alec

Alec is a DTLA-based architect and artist whose only workout is Lagree. He believes so strongly in the effectiveness of the method for building more strength, increasing muscle tone and getting better cardio, that he decided to pursue trainer certification in 2022. His main goal as a trainer is to lead by example: he will challenge you to work hard towards reaching that satisfying threshold of mind and body transformation that he has discovered through Lagree. When he isn't designing, working out or teaching, Alec enjoys old-school activities like reading books and taking photos with a vintage camera.
Marisol

Marisol

Marisol fell in love with the Lagree method while in college. She knew then she wanted to teach one day, and a few years later she earned her Lagree Fitness certification. She enjoys lifting, running and boxing, but Lagree tops them all. During her class, you can expect to get a great workout and have fun while doing it. Marisol wants ALL fitness levels to feel welcome in her classes — she offers regression and progression options to meet you where you’re at! It brings her genuine joy to see her clients get stronger and stronger each class.
Megan

Megan

Megan was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama but always dreamed of moving to California to pursue a career in fitness. After graduating with a degree in kinesiology from UAB, and establishing herself as a pilates instructor, Megan took the leap. She is now certified to teach yoga, barre, and Lagree, and loves empowering her clients to reach their fitness goals and have fun while doing it. In her spare time, Megan enjoys listening to music, hiking, and dancing.
Shiran

Shiran

Born in Israel and raised in LA, Shiran considers herself a Valley Girl at heart. Growing up in a family of Lakers fans ignited her passion for basketball and being active. For Shiran, being active is more than just exercise — it’s a way to spend time with people, to learn and understand the body and mind, and relieve the many stresses life brings, all while challenging yourself. Shiran loves all music, from old school hits to 90s hip hop and current dance/pop music. Expect her classes to be fun and test your limits. Shiran’s Lagree mantra is: “Don’t stop when it hurts, stop when you’re done. Keep it going! You got this!” Her favorite hobbies include: hiking, cuddling her dog, spending time with family… and Lagree! During the Summer, find her cycling or rollerblading 20+ miles down PCH.
Stephanie R

Stephanie R

Until she found Lagree in 2016, Stephanie grew up a star athlete but struggled in adulthood to find a workout she loved. She connected deeply with the method, seeing the positive impacts on both her physical and mental health. Stephanie believed so thoroughly in the method that she wanted to share her passion with others, so she earned her certification in 2022. Stephanie’s classes are challenging, but promise you’ll leave with a smile! Her personality and sense of humor shine through her routines and she loves seeing her clients improve with every class.
